Evaporator head for WAM®-Porocol® evaporator column - scent barrier to guide the game

WAM®-Porocol® is a synthetic fragrance ingredient that is housed in a weather-resistant plastic evaporator column. The fragrance retains its effect for a period of approx. 4-6 months and can then be refilled without any problems. The game is a part of the forest and nature. We steer it with these measures so that it stays in its original habitat.

Protect wildlife from:

• Collisions with vehicles!
  To avoid collisions, set up the evaporator columns on roads at a distance of approx. 30-40 m and a side distance to the road of approx. 15-30 m.
• Losses of young game/fawns (mowing death)!
  Excellent for rescuing fawns (mowing death). To do this, place the evaporator columns on the meadow 1-2 days before mowing.
• The exchange of game (4-5 columns/ha) in danger zones!
  In order to steer game, set up the pillars at a distance of approx. 40 m around the danger area. When the wind is from the west, the evaporator columns should be erected approx. 50 m to the west of the danger zone, while the columns should be erected directly on the eastern edge of the danger zone. The wind thus carries the scent as you approach the danger zone and then from the danger zone to the east entrance. This distribution frightens the game before the substitution.
  
  
• By turning the evaporator head, you can control the release of the fragrance.
• Under certain circumstances, eg too many game animals, the effect of distraction measures cannot achieve the desired effect.
• WAM®-Porocol® is also ideal for use in forestry and viticulture!
  (Please make sure to remove the WAM®-Porocol® evaporator columns before mechanical harvesting.)

• Effect duration: approx. 4-6 months
  In direct sunlight on the evaporator columns, the active ingredient evaporates in about 3 months.
• Duration of effect in winter: Use up to - 20° C
  The intensity is maintained in winter. The duration of the effect is even longer because the temperatures are lower.
