A rugged magnesium alloy housing has high structural strength, protecting the Krypton 2 from shock and vibration loads, and withstanding external mechanical, temperature and climatic effects. The magnesium alloy housing effectively removes and dissipates heat from the electronic components of the thermal imager, increasing the operational stability of the device.

Excellent battery performance. Up to 11 hours of operation on a single battery charge! The quickly replaceable rechargeable Li-Ion battery IPS7 provides sufficient power for up to 11 hours of continuous use. With one battery the device can run all night without needing to be replaced. The quick-disconnect and cordless design, combined with the long operating time, are the key features of this power system.

The European 12 µm / 640x480 pixel thermal image sensor provides a sharp, richly contrasted thermal image for improved identification of animals, their limbs and even the smallest details such as branches, leaves, grass and terrain.

The powerful objective lens combined with a professional-quality 12 µm thermal image sensor provides exceptional detection capabilities. A standard object 1.8 m high can be detected at a distance of 2300 m in complete darkness.
