In recent years, thermal imaging cameras have made a pioneering contribution to improved game observation and, where permitted by law, to more efficient hunting. However, when using thermal imaging cameras in conjunction with firearms, there is a need for prior calibration.
With the patented and newly developed AMR thermal imaging target pads, this calibration is now particularly efficient and cost-effective.
Simply tear open the packaging (foil), remove the pad, peel off the protective film on the back and attach the target pad to the desired position. The pad reaches its optimum calibration temperature of 38 ° C within a few minutes. Then aim the heat pad with the thermal imager mounted on the firearm and optimize the heat view. After 2-3 test shots, thanks to the round shape and small diameter of the pad, unwanted shot deviations between the bullet holes and the geometric center of the pad can be determined optimally.
The activation of the heat pads begins only by contact with the air. The specific combination of ingredients contained in the heat pads (especially activated carbon) ensures their automatic heating without further action.
